The Halltown Fire Protection District is accepting sealed bids for a 1985 Chevrolet 1 Ton past military truck. The vehicle has recently become surplus property and will be sold to the highest bidder, by sealed bid. A minimum reserve of $1,500 does apply to this purchase and if the reserve amount is not met the district reserves the right to refuse all bids. Bids will be accepted until 11:59pm on January 31st, 2024 by email only.
The award winner will be contacted after the monthly meeting on February 5th by email and phone. Please use the email format listed at the bottom of this page in your email bids. This vehicle is owned by the district and was originally a military vehicle obtained through the MO Conservation Dept.
The vehicle will come with a Missouri title

All stickers will be removed prior to sale.
If the vehicle is bid on and won by a civilian party all emergency lights and equipment will be removed.
